President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno of Chad has arrived in Paris on an official visit aimed at redefining bilateral relations between Chad and France.
The Chadian leader is scheduled to hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, focusing on a new framework for cooperation between the two countries.
The visit comes two months after the termination of the defence agreement between Chad and France, marking a turning point in their long-standing partnership.
The talks are expected to shape the future direction of diplomatic, political, and strategic relations between N’Djamena and Paris.
