In Nigeria’s Kebbi State, about 25 students have been abducted after bandits launched a late-night attack on the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area. The assault took place on Sunday night, plunging the community into shock.
According to local sources, the gunmen killed the school’s Vice Principal, Malam Hassan Makuku, before taking several schoolgirls away. Residents report that the attack was swift and violent, leaving staff and students scrambling for safety.
The abductions have triggered widespread panic across the region, with families and community leaders overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty. Many parents gathered at the school through the night, desperately seeking information.
