Liberia’s National Port Authority (NPA) has launched a $550 million strategic plan dubbed RESET, aimed at transforming the nation’s ports into a modern trade and logistics hub for West Africa.
Spanning 2025 to 2030, the initiative seeks to modernize infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, and stimulate economic growth through improved maritime logistics.
As part of the plan, inland container terminals will be developed to ease congestion at the Freeport of Monrovia — positioning Liberia as a key gateway for regional and international commerce.
