Benin is hosting the first International Symposium on Scientific Advances in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Monday to Wednesday in Cotonou.
The event, organized by Enabel, the Belgian Development Agency, in partnership with the Beninese Association for the Promotion of the Family, brings together experts and policymakers from across Africa and beyond.
Participants are discussing innovative mechanisms to improve sexual and reproductive health systems, with a strong focus on reducing maternal and infant mortality.
The symposium marks a major step in strengthening scientific collaboration and promoting evidence-based solutions to safeguard women’s and children’s health.
