Liberia has launched an Automated Legal Power of Attorney (LPA) System aimed at empowering civil servants through digital innovation.
The system, inaugurated on Wednesday, allows government employees to purchase essential goods and services on credit, with repayments automatically deducted from their monthly salaries over six months.
Officials say the initiative seeks to improve the welfare of civil servants while promoting financial inclusion and transparency in government transactions.
The move marks a significant step toward digitizing public service systems in Liberia, signaling the administration’s commitment to modernization and economic empowerment.
