In Liberia, 25 female politicians and leaders have undergone training in digital literacy and online safety to better navigate digital spaces and combat online harassment.
The two-day workshop, held in Monrovia, equipped participants with practical tools to enhance their online engagement and political visibility while maintaining digital security.
Organized by the Center for Media Studies and Peacebuilding (CEMESP) in partnership with the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), the initiative received support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Accra.
The program forms part of broader efforts to empower women in politics and promote safer participation in digital and democratic spaces.
