President Alassane Ouattara has unveiled his 2025–2030 governance program as Côte d’Ivoire’s presidential campaign officially begins. The plan, presented in Abidjan by former Prime Minister Patrick Achi and Economy Minister Nialé Kaba, prioritizes economic transformation, industrial growth, and job creation.

A key feature of the program is the creation of a sovereign wealth fund to support local investment and empower Ivorian entrepreneurs to drive national industrialization.

Major infrastructure projects are also planned, including the completion of Abidjan Metro Line 1, the launch of a high-speed train to Yamoussoukro, new lagoon transport systems, and nationwide 4G coverage by 2030.

Authorities say the initiative aims to boost economic growth to 7.2% and reduce poverty, while positioning the Ivorian economy to adapt to global shifts in climate and technology.
