This week’s edition of Enviroscope is on World Animal Day.

Commemorated each year on October 4, the day’s advocacy encompasses all animals, including wild, domesticated, farmed, and endangered species, as well as the issues they face.

This day aims to raise the status of animals and highlight their importance to humanity and the planet. It also mobilizes people into a global force for change, inspiring movements for animal protection.

The 2025 occasion is the 100th anniversary, and is themed “Save Animals, Save the Planet”.
