A total of 105 Gambian migrants have been repatriated from Tunisia with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The group arrived in The Gambia on Tuesday.
The return was organized under IOM Tunisia’s Voluntary Return program, which helps migrants return to their home countries safely and with dignity.
This marks the 18th chartered flight organized by IOM for voluntary repatriation since the start of 2025.
Officials say the program is helping ease the plight of stranded migrants while supporting reintegration back home.
