A two-day regional meeting on peace architectures in West Africa has concluded in Cotonou with the adoption of a roadmap to strengthen cooperation against violent extremism.
The forum, which brought together government officials, civil society actors, and development partners, stressed the urgent need for coordinated action to address growing insecurity in the Gulf of Guinea.
Participants also emphasized the importance of turning the commitments outlined in the roadmap into concrete measures that can sustainably reinforce peace and stability across the region.
