Burkina Faso has inaugurated a new war college to strengthen its fight against insecurity.
The Tiéfo Amoro Institute of Higher Military Education will train officers to better respond to security challenges facing the country and the wider sub-region.
Prime Minister Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo presided over the official launch of the institute’s activities, describing it as a milestone in building national defense capacity.
The move reflects the government’s broader efforts to reinforce military professionalism amid persistent threats from armed groups.
