Liberia and Rwanda have deepened their bilateral ties with the signing of two landmark agreements in Monrovia on Wednesday. The deals include the establishment of a Joint Permanent Commission of Cooperation and a Reciprocal Visa Waiver Agreement.
The signing ceremony, held at Liberia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marks a significant step toward strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations.
The Joint Permanent Commission of Cooperation will serve as a structured framework for regular consultations, joint planning, and coordinated implementation of initiatives across various sectors.
Officials say the agreements will enhance collaboration and people-to-people exchanges, while laying the groundwork for long-term strategic partnerships between Monrovia and Kigali.
