Guinea’s General Directorate of Elections (DGE) has announced key measures ahead of the constitutional referendum scheduled for September 21, 2025.
At a press conference on Wednesday, the Director General of Elections, Djénabou Touré, outlined steps taken to ensure a smooth and credible vote.
In a related development, authorities lifted the suspension on two major opposition parties, the UFDG and RPG Arc-en-ciel.
The move is seen as a significant development in Guinea’s political climate as the country approaches a pivotal referendum.
