The National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons has warned against carrying weapons during the upcoming Akwatia by-elections in Ghana.

The Commission stressed that anyone found with arms, whether lethal or not, will be arrested and prosecuted.

The measure aims to ensure a peaceful and secure electoral process as voters head to the polls.
