Ghana’s former President Nana Akufo-Addo has linked Africa’s persistent insecurity to weak institutions and entrenched corruption.
Speaking Monday at the graduation lecture of Course 33 of Nigeria’s National Defense College in Abuja, the former leader stressed that without strong governance systems, the continent cannot achieve sustainable peace or development.
Akufo-Addo called for urgent institutional reforms, greater accountability, and the promotion of good governance as critical steps to secure Africa’s future.
