We spotlight the surge in Unruly Passenger Incidents Disrupting Nigeria’s Aviation. This in the last 2 weeks has become and dominate national discourse.

Among recent high-profile incidents, a passenger on Ibom Air physically assaulted crew members, including slapping a flight attendant and attempting to use a fire extinguisher as a weapon after refusing to switch off her phone.

In response, the Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals (ANAP) has called on the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to revise enforcement protocols and strengthen protections for aviation staff.
