A state-run university lecturer in Liberia has been charged with armed robbery and attempted murder following an incident at EcoBank’s head office in Monrovia.
Police say Fobay Emery Johnson was arrested on August 6 during an attempted heist.
According to investigators, Johnson allegedly entered the bank’s private storeroom, brandished a single-barrel shotgun, and threatened to kill an employee while demanding cash.
