Ghana’s Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations is urging religious leaders to share prophecies or spiritual revelations of national importance with the government before announcing them publicly.

Presidential Envoy Elvis Afriyie Ankrah said the policy is not aimed at limiting prophetic freedom, but at responsibly managing messages with potential security implications, particularly those involving top officials.

The directive has sparked mixed reactions, with some citizens supporting it as a safeguard against panic, while others see it as an infringement on religious expression.
