In Guinea, the new biometric electoral register was officially presented this Saturday in Conakry.
It represents a key step towards the return to constitutional order, as the country plans to hold elections by the end of the year.
This file will be used for the first time during the referendum planned for next September, during which Guineans will have to vote for or against the adoption of a new Constitution.
The Guinean Minister of Territorial Administration, General Ibrahima Kalil Condé, assured that with this new file, electoral crises will soon be nothing more than a bad memory.
It should be noted that the census enabled the registration of more than 6.7 million voters, including those from the diaspora.
