Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday led a Special Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting to honour the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the session was deeply personal, reflecting the government’s respect for Buhari’s legacy.
As part of the tributes, Tinubu announced the renaming of a tertiary institution in Borno State after the late leader.
The move underscores Buhari’s enduring influence on Nigeria’s political and educational landscape.
