Nigeria has launched a major agricultural initiative in collaboration with Belarus to modernize farming and equip young people with practical skills in mechanized agriculture.
President Bola Tinubu unveiled the Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanization Program on Monday in Abuja, stating that the partnership is designed to boost food security and promote youth financial independence.
The initiative reflects Nigeria’s broader push to transform its agricultural sector by introducing global best practices and sustainable technologies. With Belarus providing technical support and equipment, the program is expected to create jobs, reduce food imports, and revitalize rural economies.
