Regional ministers from across West Africa have gathered in Abuja for the 94th ECOWAS Council of Ministers session, with a focus on steering the region toward economic emancipation.
Held as part of a wider series of meetings leading to the June 22 ECOWAS Heads of State Summit, the session reviewed the 2025 interim report on the state of the Community and the organization’s financial outlook.
The Council also deliberated on outcomes from the Administrative and Financial Committee’s latest meeting, setting the tone for stronger financial governance and regional cooperation.
