Togo’s opposition coalition, Dynamique Monseigneur Kpodzro (DMK), has declared its full support for the planned protests set for June 26–28, 2025.
The protests aim to denounce the newly adopted constitution, alleged governance failures, and rising rights violations under President Faure Gnassingbé’s administration. DMK leaders have urged citizens, particularly the youth, to turn out in large numbers and make their voices heard.
Thomas Noussoukpoé, DMK’s General Coordinator, emphasized that the demonstration is a peaceful call for accountability and political change.
