Guinea’s Transitional President, General Mamadi Doumbouya, has begun a 48-hour working and friendship visit to Côte d’Ivoire. He was welcomed on Tuesday by Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara at the presidential palace in Abidjan.
The two leaders focused their talks on deepening economic cooperation between their countries. As neighbours with shared interests, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea aim to boost trade, infrastructure development, and regional integration.
This visit marks a significant step in reinforcing bilateral ties as both nations navigate complex political transitions and regional challenges.
