Former Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo has unveiled a new political initiative dubbed the Enough is Enough movement. The launch was announced in an open letter shared on his party’s official Facebook page on Thursday.
Gbagbo, who leads the opposition PPA-CI party, described the movement as a platform that transcends political affiliations. Its goal, he said, is to bring the real concerns of ordinary Ivorians to the forefront of national discourse.
He emphasized that the movement seeks to rally citizens frustrated by economic hardship, political exclusion, and social inequality. “It’s time to listen to the people,” he declared.
Observers say this move could reshape Côte d’Ivoire’s political landscape ahead of the upcoming elections, particularly as Gbagbo remains a polarizing but influential figure.
