A preliminary hearing has started at the Monrovia City Court for four Liberian lawmakers accused of orchestrating an arson attack on the National Assembly.
The session, which opened on Tuesday, aims to assess the validity of the prosecution’s evidence just a day after the accused were released on bail.
Among those facing charges are former House Speaker Fonati Koffa, along with Jacob Debe, Dixon Siebo, and Abu Kamara.
They appeared in court with legal representation, while the prosecution was led by Solicitor General Augustine Fayiah.
