In Côte d’Ivoire, the trial involving PDCI leader Tidjane Thiam and party executive Valérie Yapo has been postponed to May 22.
Yapo is contesting Thiam’s legitimacy as party president, citing his alleged dual nationality at the time of his candidacy.
The case, originally scheduled for May 15, marks its second delay since proceedings began.
Thiam’s lawyer, Ange Rodrigue Dadjé, dismissed the case as baseless in a Facebook post following the postponement.
