Ghana has signed a major agreement with the Africa CDC to strengthen epidemic preparedness and response efforts across West Africa.
The MoU focuses on data sharing, cross-border surveillance, and building regional capacity to tackle health emergencies more effectively.
President John Mahama and Africa CDC Director-General Dr. John Nkengasong led the talks in Accra, with support from the African Union.
Health experts say the partnership is a crucial step toward preventing future outbreaks and saving lives.
