Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has announced the abolition of key taxes, including the E-Levy and COVID Levy, as part of the 2025 Budget.

The budget, dubbed the “Asempa Budget,” also removes the 10% Betting Tax and reintroduces road tolls.

Additionally, the minister revealed the uncapping of the GETFund to boost education financing.
