UN releases $110M to offset global aid cuts

Following the suspension of USAID funding, the UN is allocating $110 million to sustain humanitarian projects worldwide.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says the funds will primarily support African nations affected by aid shortfalls.

OCHA stated on Thursday that the move aims to mitigate the sharp decline in global humanitarian funding.
