The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has strongly opposed a proposed electricity tariff hike, calling it an “unjustified extortion” of Nigerians.

Following a National Executive Council meeting in Yola, Adamawa State, the union warned that it would mobilize mass resistance if the increase is implemented.
