The Gambia marked its 60th independence anniversary on Tuesday, celebrating six decades of sovereignty, resilience, and national progress.
Under the theme “Marching in Solidarity for Self-Reliance and National Development,” President Adama Barrow described the occasion as a historic moment. While acknowledging the country’s achievements, he also admitted that significant challenges remain.
In his address, Barrow urged Gambians to unite in building a stronger and more self-reliant nation.
