Ghana: Mahama warns appointees to declare assets or face sanctions

President John Dramani Mahama has warned government appointees to declare their assets by the end of March 2025 or risk severe sanctions, including dismissal.

He issued the directive after personally submitting his asset declaration to the Auditor-General at the Jubilee House. Mahama emphasized that this measure strengthens transparency and fights corruption.
