In Liberia, the Rule of Law Caucus has criticized President Joseph Boakai’s suspension of NEC Chairperson Madam Davidetta Brown-Lansanah, labeling it a threat to democracy.

The caucus, led by Speaker J. Fonati Koffa, expressed concerns over the indefinite suspension, which was justified by the President as necessary to maintain public order.

Amid growing criticism and fears about democratic stability, the caucus has urged President Boakai to reverse the decision promptly.
