Mali is celebrating its Day of Regained Sovereignty on January 14 with the theme: “Culture as a factor of national unity and patriotic spirit.”
This marks the third year of the celebration, and authorities have declared 2025 the Year of Culture.
The initiative aims to strengthen social cohesion and promote patriotic values throughout the country.
The government hopes the festivities will highlight culture’s essential role in uniting Malians and fostering national solidarity.
