Nigeria is set to revise its methodology for calculating Gross Domestic Product (GDP), aiming to capture a broader range of economic activities.

The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has announced plans to include informal, hidden, and even illegal sectors in its GDP calculations starting this year. This move is expected to provide a more comprehensive representation of the country’s economic activities.
