Guinea began a national campaign to raise awareness of the draft new constitution on Thursday.

For the next 30 days, advisors and parliamentary officials will travel across regions, prefectures, sub-prefectures, and urban areas to discuss the contents of the proposed constitution with citizens.

The launch event at the People’s Palace in Conakry gathered government officials, junta members, political party representatives, and the diplomatic corps accredited in Guinea.
