The 81st Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) has concluded in Banjul, marking over 20 days of dedicated discussions on critical human rights issues impacting the African continent. Held at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre, the session gathered prominent human rights advocates, diplomats, and state representatives to tackle pressing challenges and evaluate progress in protecting human rights across Africa.
This gathering highlighted ongoing efforts and obstacles faced by member states in advancing human rights, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration and accountability in addressing the needs of African communities.
