With just a month until Ghana’s general elections on December 7, 2024, the IMANI Centre for Policy and Education has raised concerns over the promises made by major political parties, including the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the Movement for Change.

IMANI argues that these promises lack clarity and quantifiable measures, with little specificity or actionable details, making it difficult for voters to evaluate the feasibility of proposed policies. The think tank emphasizes the importance of measurable commitments for effective governance and calls on parties to provide concrete plans that Ghanaians can rely on for progress.
