Ahead of Senegal’s November, 17, 2024, legislative elections, citizens have called for peace amid growing political tensions and attacks.
Despite the pockets of violence, citizens remain high-spirited as they participate in the democratic process to elect the country’s 165 members into the house of national assembly representing various constituencies.
In an interview with WADR’s Christopher Atitso, residents condemned the attack at the Sam Sa Kadu coalition’s headquarters, while urging political parties and their followers to always consider the best interests and sovereignty of the nation first.
