Burkina Faso now has a new passport without the logo or features of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS.
The new-generation biometric passport, known as the ePassport was officially launched on Tuesday by the Burkinabe Government.
According to the government, this modern ePassport is equipped with an electronic chip designed for the collection and storage of biometric data, enhancing security and efficiency in identity verification.
