The Liberian Police is investigating one of its officers, Inspector David S. Fayiah for reportedly shooting to death a 19-year-old civilian, identified as Manoba Mohammed in Brewerville, outside Monrovia.

Addressing reporters Sunday at the Police Headquarters in Monrovia, Police Inspector General— Gregory Coleman said the incident occurred on August 3, 2024,  following a confrontation between Inspector Fayiah and Mohammed that resulted in the discharge of the officer’s firearm.
