In Niger, three former ministers under the regime of President Mohammed Bazoum have regained their freedom.

The officials were released more than a year after their arrest and subsequent detention by the military government led by General Abdulrahman Tiani.

Their release was communicated by the former ruling party as you will hear in this report by Augustine Kollie.
