Less than 48 hours before the August nationwide protest against Bad governance and the prevailing security crisis in Nigeria, developments have taken place which observers say are meant to counter the demonstrations.
The protest has been organized just a little over a year since President Bola Tinubu came to power and implemented reforms that have been blamed for the current economic turmoil.
Prominent among them is the removal of the fuel and electricity subsidies.
