Burkina Faso is now expected to shortly benefit from the construction of a nuclear Power plant.

This follows the adoption of a bill by the government granting privileges and immunities to experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the construction of the country’s nuclear plant.

This decision was taken in the council of ministers on July 24,2024.
