The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) of Ghana has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to promptly address his reservations regarding the Anti-Witchcraft Bill and sign it into law.
Officially known as the Criminal Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2023, this legislation seeks to combat harmful practices such as witch doctoring and accusations, aiming to protect vulnerable individuals.
