An 18-count resolution was signed at the end of the Mano River Union conference of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Finance held in Monrovia.
Delegates from Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, and Sierra Leone; converged for two days to address critical issues such as the implementation of the ECOWAS framework on the free movement of goods to facilitate trade between the MRU member states.
Discussions also highlighted the use of the ECOWAS biometric identification card as a legal travel document within the MRU region among others.
