President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has established a new ministry to address the long-standing conflict between farmers and herders in the country.

The Ministry of Livestock Development was announced during the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms at the State House in Abuja.

The federal institution aims to end years of violence that has claimed hundreds of lives.
