The courts in Mali ordered for the arrest of Mohamed Aly Bathily, a former Minister of Justice, on Monday.
Bathily, a member of the Malian Bar, has been in police custody since last Friday after he was arrested on June 20 for participating in a clandestine meeting while political activities were suspended in the country.
He was, however, released a few hours later due to his status as a lawyer.
