A member of the African Union Board against Corruption, Edem Senanu, has questioned the relevance of a promise by former President of Ghana who also doubles as the NDC Flagbearer, John Mahama, to set-up an Independence Value for Money office to scrutinize all government procurements above 5 million dollars.
The former president, while speaking at a media encounter on Sunday night, argued that the new body will help curb corruption activities associated with procurements.
But speaking to WADR’s Naa Dedei Tettey, Edem Senanu argued creating such an office will amount to a duplication of existing anti-graft agencies in the country
